Portland Land Acknowledgement
Collaborate Consulting is based in Portland, Oregon on the lands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualitin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other Tribes. One important way we can be responsible stewards of the resources, spaces, and communities on these lands is by sharing this land acknowledgment. We hope this will bring added visibility to the complex and robust Indigenous history found throughout this area.
Genocide is a complicated historical truth that cannot be summed up in a short statement. It is our intention to share this land acknowledgment to recognize our past while also supporting the future of Indigenous people in our region. We encourage you to join us by developing land acknowledgments honoring the Indigenous communities on the lands in which you live, love, and tend.
