Trans Inclusion: Auditing Your Website

We get it.

Your website was built ten years ago. Not by you.

Your organization really is ready to welcome trans people through its doors! And you’re pretty sure how to start— just add “and transgender people” to every mention of the communities you serve… right?

We’re sorry to be the ones to tell you this, but it definitely takes more than that to build a trans inclusive web presence. Luckily, we are here to walk you through the very basics of auditing your online footprint so you don’t lose out on any potential clients from the trans community!

This session is specifically designed for medical providers, including community health centers, fertility clinics, solo practitioners, and more! Other support professionals such as doulas and childbirth educators will also find that this session is right for them.

We’ll be covering gendered language and why it’s so critical to find and adjust all uses of it across your platforms. We’ll provide you with lots of alternatives to these words and phrases, so you can get started with the corrections right away. We’ll also give you lots of great ways to bring trans inclusive imagery to your online presence, so prospective clients see themselves in your work as soon as they visit your site!

This event is free for current Collaborate clients, as well as Tier One members of Trystan’s Trans Revolution Community.
