Allyship Intensive: Four-Part Series

Many organizations have already moved past the basics of allyship— they’ve developed employee resource groups and have received training on microaggressions, systemic bias, and the like. For these teams, action is called for! This four-part series will help your organization put the theoretical ideas of DEI into practice.

This series focuses on four areas of inclusion:

  • Understanding diverse communities

  • Mastering inclusive language

  • Overcoming common workplace challenges

  • Cultivating an attitude of humility

Each session begins with a lesson and then transitions into a small-group discussion, which is vital as the adult brain needs to process and deliberate new information in order to use it for behavior change. Each session is also accompanied by concrete steps you can take to create a more welcoming culture for all employees.

This training series can be offered on a monthly cadence, with an option to add implementation coaching between sessions. Smaller groups, such as individual departments or employee resource groups, can complete the series or it can be offered to an entire organization. We have also tailored this series to suit the specific needs of our clients, including adjusting it for teachers/faculty, medical providers, or food and beverage professionals.
